(1) Once more, I left Ishupitta. I attacked Palhuissas. The enemy coming from Peshurus came to support Palhuissas. I fought it and my mistress the Sun-goddess of Arinna, my lord the awesome Tarhus, Mezzullas and all the gods came along with me. I struck the enemy from Peshurus at Palhuissas. Once again, I burnt down the town.
(7) Once again, I came back from Palhuissas to the land Hatti. I mobilized the army and the cavalry. Then, that year, I marched against the land Arzawa. I dispatched a messenger to Uhhaziti. I wrote to him: "my subjects who came to you, although I asked for them to you, you did not give them back to me. You have called me a child, that has humiliated me. But now, come on! We are going to fight. May my lord Tarhus judge this case."
(15) But after I had marched and arrived at Lawasa, my lord the awesome Tarhus worked a miracle: he threw a bolt of lighning. My army looked at the bolt of lightning, it looked at the land Arzawa, the bolt of lightning crossed and struck the land Arzawa. It struck Apasas, the town of Uhhaziti, it constrained Uhhaziti in his knees and he fell ill. Since Uhhaziti had fallen ill, he did not come to fight me, but he sent his son SUM.MA-dKAL with troops and cavalry. He came to fight me at the river Astarpa at Walma. Then I, the Sun, fought him. My mistress the Sun-goddess of Arinna, my lord the awesome Tarhus, Mezzullas and all the gods came along with me. I defeated SUM.MA-dKAL the son of Uhhaziti with his troops and his cavalry and I injured him. Moreover, I caught him in the rear. I crossed the land Arzawa and I entered into Apāsa, the town of Uhhaziti. Uhhaziti did not resist and he fled in front of me. He crossed the sea toward an island. He remained there.
(33) But the whole land Arzawa fled. Some prisoners(1) went to Mount Arinnandas and they occupied Mount Arinnandas. Other prisoners continued to Puranda and they occupied Puranda. Other prisoners crossed the sea with Uhhaziti. So I, the Sun, went to Arinnandas up to the prisoners. I fought Arinnandas and my mistress the Sun-goddess of Arinna, my lord the awesome Tarhus, Mezzullas and all the gods came along with me. I defeated Arinnandas and I, the Sun, brought these prisoners to the palace. There have been 15,500 prisoners. But the Hittite officers, soldiers and horsemen brought other prisoners whose account has not been indicated. Then I, the Sun, sent the prisoners (to Hattusas) and they brought them.
(46) After having conquered Mount Arinnandas, I came back again to Astarpas. I fortified the surroundings of a camp at Astarpas and I celebrated there the annual festival. I made this in one year.
(50) Then it was spring. Uhhaziti who had fallen ill went to the sea and his children were with him. But Uhhaziti died near the sea and his children split up. The first one stayed near the sea, the other one, Tapalazunawalis, came back from the sea. Since the whole land Arzawa [...] had gone up to Puranda, Tapalazunawalis went to Puranda.
(57) [...], I went to fight at Puranda. Tapalazunawalis came down with troops and cavalry, he came to me to fight, he stood in front of me in his pasture. I, the Sun, fought him. My mistress the Sun-goddess of Arinna, my lord the awesome Tarhus, Mezzullas and the gods came along with me. Then I defeated Tapalazunawalis [...] with his troops and his horsemen and I injured him. Afterward, I besieged him. I went to encircle Puranda. I invaded it and I flooded it.
(66) While I was invading Puranda, Tapalazunawalis the son of Uhhaziti who had come up to Puranda was afraid. He ran away from Puranda at night. He made his children and prisoners go down and he let them at Puranda.
(71) But when I, the Sun, heard: "Tapalazunawalis ran away at night, he made his children and prisoners go down and he let them." I, the Sun, pursued him with troops and cavalry. They intercepted Tapalazunawalis, they cut him off from his children and prisoners and they captured them. Only Tapalazunawalis himself escaped. [...], he took them for his own troops and cavalry.
(79) [...] I invaded Puranda. I fought [...]. My mistress the Sun-goddess of Arinna, my lord the awesome Tarhus, Mezzullas and all the gods came along with me. I conquered Puranda and the prisoners that I brought to the palace accounted for 16,000 prisoners. But the Hittite officers, soldiers and horsemen brought other prisoners whose account has not been indicated. I sent the prisoners to Hattusas and they brought them.
